Marching Forward: Celebrating 10 Years of KUMPUL

On March 1st, 2025, KUMPUL marked a major milestone: 10 years of building and nurturing Indonesia’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. A decade ago, KUMPUL was founded with a simple yet powerful belief, that entrepreneurs in Indonesia, regardless of their background or location, deserve access to a supportive, inclusive ecosystem.

Our founder, Faye Wongso, saw a fragmented landscape where talents, startups, and MSMEs struggled to find the right support, networks, and opportunities. Despite the abundance of potential, access remained limited.

From a Vision to a Movement

In 2015, KUMPUL began as a coworking space in Bali. Built not just as a place to work, but as a collaborative community for early-stage entrepreneurs and changemakers. Through resilience, consistency, and an unwavering commitment to collaboration, KUMPUL has since evolved into a two-way global ecosystem enabler, impacting over 52,000 startups and 82,000 MSMEs across and beyond Indonesia’s borders.

What started as a vision to empower entrepreneurs has now evolved into an ecosystem that has connected entrepreneurs across Indonesia and Asia Pacific, providing them with access to grow and scale.
