Proven Impact Since 2016

Since its inception in 2016, BEKUP has supported early-stage startups across more than 20 cities in Indonesia. With over 1,300 applicants in the last five years and a survival rate of nearly 50%, BEKUP continues to act as a catalyst for resilient and high-impact digital ventures.

Several BEKUP alumni have grown into role models in the digital innovation space. For example, Atourin has empowered over 700 tourism villages through digitalization. Surplus has saved more than 100,000 tons of food and reduced 2,000 tons of CO₂ emissions. Lister has secured international investment and generated over 1 million USD in annual revenue. KlinikGo has successfully expanded its telehealth services to Malaysia.

According to Teuku Riefky, the digital solutions sector is a strategic pillar of Indonesia’s creative economy. He added that with the rise of digital users, strong economic potential, and the presence of unicorns and decacorns, the government is committed to positioning BEKUP 2025 as a launchpad for long-term and sustainable growth.
